Truck Assist, Australia’s foremost truck roadside assistance and online insurance provider, has today confirmed a continuation of its partnership with driver Jack Le Brocq and TEKNO Autosports for the 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

TEKNO and NTI Truck Assist debuted their partnership at the 2018 Sandown 500, with the distinctive orange and black livery campaigned the final five events of the year, with a highlight being Le Brocq claiming top rookie honours for the season on the streets of Newcastle.

Throughout his breakthrough campaign, Le Brocq claimed five top-ten finishes, with best race and qualifying results of fifth.

“Truck Assist is proud to once again be partnering with Jack Le Brocq and TEKNO in 2019,” said Alan Hasted, General Manager, Truck Assist.

“Supercars is the perfect platform to expose Truck Assist to a passionate nationwide audience, with the feedback from our introduction to sport last year a huge boost for the brand.

“Throughout his journey up the motorsport ranks, Jack has proven his talent, with his efforts last year against some incredible competition highly impressive.

“Jack is the perfect ambassador for Truck Assist and is going to go a very long way in the sport.

“The team at TEKNO meanwhile have Bathurst winning pedigree on their side, and we feel they will once again put together an ultra-professional operation – we can’t wait for the season to get started!”

The 15-event calendar will be complemented by an expansive package off-track for Truck Assist, with a focus on the brand’s heavy vehicle roadside assistance service, as well as online truck insurance offering.

For Le Brocq, continuity with Truck Assist and TEKNO sets up an exciting sophomore campaign.

“Last year was a big learning curve for myself, having Truck Assist on board for the 2019 season is fantastic, I know we can achieve some great things both on and off track,” said Le Brocq.

“I can’t wait to hit the streets of Adelaide with Truck Assist TEKNO Racing!”

TEKNO Managing Director Jonathon Webb added, “TEKNO are pleased to announce the continuation of Truck Assist’s partnership with TEKNO, and Jack Le Brocq again taking the wheel of the TEKNO Supercar.

“Together we’ve built the foundations for a strong 2019 Supercars campaign, we look forward to debuting a new look Truck Assist TEKNO Racing livery shortly.”

The new 2019 livery and full team partner line up will be unveiled in the coming weeks, with the season set to commence at the Superloop Adelaide 500 from February 28 to March 1.
