Race 8 – P5

Davison began the final Race in 8th, after the car was improved overnight and setting his fastest Qualifying time of the weekend.

Starting in a good position for the 82 Lap race, Davison fought hard to reach the front of the field and with a great strategy by the team finished P5.

Davison believes after his tough start to the year that P5 is a great result.

“It was a great way to finish the weekend, it wasn’t a podium but it was a really rewarding Race. It was a really hard fought out strategy slog and we maximised every single lap. To hold out Shane and Fabian on fresh tyres was a really good fight to the end. We’ve improved the car all weekend and it felt good to leave with a good haul of points and enjoying my racing.”

TEKNO will now prepare for Round 5 of the Supercars Championship at the Winton SuperSprint on May 19-21, with all Races to be televised LIVE on Fox Sports.
