TEKNO Autosports will be joined by renowned Supercars Team Manager Adrian Burgess at the Sandown 500 for Round 10 of the Supercars Championship this weekend. A member of the Supercars paddock since 2008, Burgess made the move to Australian Motorsport following stints in Formula 1. Burgess will be joining TEKNO in a consultancy role for the weekend, and will bring his knowledge and experience to compliment the team at the first Round of the Pirtek Enduro Cup. TEKNO Team Owner Jonathon Webb has also confirmed that he will be driving alongside Will Davison at the Sandown 500, and following Enduro Cup Rounds.
TEKNO's Will Davison has finished just outside the Top Ten in both Races at the Sydney SuperSprint for Round 9 of the Supercars Championship this weekend. HIGHLIGHTS Will finished Practice 1 in P9. Will finished Race 18 in P12. SMP RECAP Race 17 - Position 13 Davison debuted the Lightning McQueen livery to great fanfare, especially amongst the younger crowd members, qualifying P14 in the process. An estimated 2,500 fans descended on Tekno Autosports’ workshop on Sunday to mark the official opening of the new facility in Yatala, Queensland. The star of the show was the team’s Supercar, which has taken on the colours of popular Disney-Pixar character Lightning McQueen for the Red Rooster Sydney SuperSprint. TEKNO's Will Davison has fought against an unknown tyre issue during Race 16 of the Ipswich SuperSprint for Round 8 of the Supercars Championship this weekend. HIGHLIGHTS Will finished Practice 1 in P8. Will qualified P11 for Race 16. IPSWICH RECAP Race 15 - Position 19 Davison started the weekend on a positive note, opening the Round with a strong P8 Result in Practice 1.
