Jonathon and Kobe Webb of TEKNO Autosports, today announced they have signed 2010 Supercars Champion James Courtney to drive for the team, while confirming they will become the first Sydney-based team in the Supercars Championship in over fifteen years, operating from Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek. The team will commence operating from theirSydney facility ahead of the first event of the 2020 Supercars Championship. It will then relocate upon completion of a new building at the Western Sydney circuit as part of the $33million investment by the NSW Government announced earlier this year. Jonathon Webb meanwhile has 13 previous Great Race starts to his credit since 2006. Webb and TEKNO hold the distinction of being the only combination to claim both the Bathurst 1000 and Bathurst 12 Hour titles in the same year, a feat achieved in 2016.
