Race 21 – Position 20

Davison qualified in P17 in a challenging qualifying session that saw constant weather changes and limited chances at a clean lap.

Saturday’s race was a wet and wild affair for the Woodstock Bourbon duo, with Davison struggling with rear grip for his portion of the shortened 94 lap race.

Finishing P20 in the tough conditions with only cosmetic damage, the team were able to focus on Sunday’s Race 22.

Race 22 – Position 14

Davison qualified P19 for Sunday’s race, with Webb starting the race under blue skies.

Webb made good progress during the opening stint, handing Davison a straight car. Only a refuelling issue during a pit stop halted their progress momentarily.

Davison crossed the line in P14 meaning the duo finished 17 th in the Endurance Cup standings.

With two rounds remaining Davison will now focus on climbing from 15th in the Championship.

“Obviously disappointed with our end result over the weekend, I love the GC600 and really wanted to end our Enduro campaign on a high. It’s been a tough year, but I’m still keen to get some reward to repay the crews hard work. We just haven’t found the sweet spot often enough and our poor qualifying really makes it hard. The car was quite fast & I enjoyed Sunday’s race. We had some fuelling issues in the pits which unfortunately cost us a top 10 result. But our pace was amongst the Top 5-6 for both my stint, bring on NZ & Newcastle”. – Will Davison
