Race 20 – Position 14

Davison qualified P16 in Saturday’s Qualifying session and started Race 20 from Row 8.

Pitting to swap drivers, Webb joined the Race for his first stint but was penalised 15 seconds for contact with car #97.

Dropping into P25 after serving the penalty the #19 Car climbed into P20 throughout the driver changes, struggling for raw pace in the tricky conditions.

With 40 Laps remaining in the 161 Lap Race Davison sat P21, through a high attrition rate and several restarts Davison was able to climb to P14 at the chequered flag.

Davison has now moved into 13th in the Supercars Championship Standings.

“It was probably the most difficult Bathurst 1000’s I’ve ever been a part of, the conditions were treacherous and the grip level was like driving on oils. Shame not to be a part of the battle at the end but kept the car clean which is a lot more than others can say and picked up some points, bit disappointed with the result but a big team effort from everyone that put their heart and soul into it.” – Will Davison
