Shane Van Gisbergen and Jonathon Webb will start the Bathurst 1000 tomorrow out of P6. Bring it on!

Here’s what SVG had to say about today’s running:

“We had a good run in qualifying to get into the shootout, I got a good lap in before the weather, the car is really hard to drive but it’s fast., similar to last year, hopefully going to come back to us in the race In the shootout the car felt good it’s just that the track was so much wetter than the earlier runners. I did what I could but we just had the wettest track out there basically.”

The #97 Darrell Lea STIX Commodore will be on track tomorrow for a warm up session at 8:25am. The 161 lap race will commence at 11am local event time.
